at the MCTS main office from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Our operators do
not carry or make change, so to speed up service, please make sure you
have exact fare ready when boarding. If you have a pass or are required
to show an I.D. to qualify for a discounted fare, please have that ready
as well.

Senior Citizen,
Medicare Card Holder and Disabled Person Fare
To receive reduced fares, persons 65 years of age or older must present
a valid Medicare card. Persons with disabilities must present a Milwaukee
County Transit System Photo I.D.or valid Medicare card. Please note
anyone presenting a Medicare Card is eligible for this fare.

Waukesha County
Service
Additional zone charges required by Waukesha County are applied as follows:
A 35-cent zone
charge is paid along with the regular Flyer fare when traveling on MCTS
Route 79.
A zone fare charge
of 25 cents is to be paid when traveling westbound of 124th Street or
eastbound up to 124th Street on Route 10.
Ozaukee County
Service

Transfers
Your transfer is your personal one-hour pass. Transfers are issued upon
request with payment of a cash or ticket fare and are valid for further
transportation on any bus at any stop within the time limit. Transfers
will be issued only upon request and only at the time the fare is paid.
Transfers are good
for a 50-cent discount on Wisconsin Coach Lines (WCL) adult fares. WCL
riders that transfer to select MCTS routes will receive a 50-cent discount
with a valid WCL transfer. This does not apply to Route 218 which is
a Waukesha County route.
Passengers may
transfer between MCTS Rt. 10 and Waukesha Metro Rt. 1 and Rt. 218 at
Brookfield Square. A valid transfer or pass plus 25 cents is required
when transferring between systems. If a transfer from Waukesha Metro
is needed, an additional 25 cents is required. If a transfer on MCTS
is needed, payment of full MCTS fare is required.
Refunds
Passengers who do not have exact fare may deposit cash in excess of
the proper fare in the farebox and request a receipt which may be used
to secure a refund. The receipt must be presented and verified at:
